2004 Rav4 Door Lock Switch Not Working

I have a 2001 rav4 and my drivers side door window and door lock is not working.

The dome light will flash to indicate the mode that is active. With the door fully removed you should see a plastic shroud protecting the inner door components. Carefully unhook this connection. For vehicles with traditional style door lock cylinders and keys a bad power door lock relay will merely disable the power door lock feature.

Carefully peel back this shroud. I changed the switch but they still are not working 1 answer drivers side door lock and window not working. As you remove the door you will see an electrical cord connecting the power door locks to the inside electrical clip. The only way to know for certain is to remove the door panel and check the power supply which is the blue wire with an orange tracer and a blue wire with a red tracer at the connector going to the door lock actuator.

If the rear doors are locking normally with the power door lock switch this means that all your power and ground inputs are good. However vehicles without door lock cylinders will not be able to lock or unlock the doors until power is restored. Be careful to not force the door and snap the plastic clips. For vehicles equipped with door lock cylinders the door can still be opened using the key.
