2004 Gmc Truck Driver Door Window Will Not Work

And got a new switch.

2004 gmc truck driver door window will not work.

The switch for the passenger window does work though as well as the power locks and power mirror adjusters so i know the door has power. This time it is half way down. Odd that i have 4 5 volts at the plug to the window motor when the switch is activated even with the new switch and 12 volts to the switch and the window lock out does not stop the other switches from. Another thing i just noticed is that when i put it in drive it will lock.

The buttons from the drivers side for the passenger side do not work either but the drivers side window and lock work fine. Hey guys have an 03 silverado and just started having a problem with my drivers side door. My driver side window will not go up or down and my door locks won t work either. Same problem on my 2001 2500hd.

If it still does not work the module will need to be changed and the new one programmed with the vehicle s vin number failing which it will not work. I jumped the connection and got the window to work so the motor aint bad. I have no power to my window switches mirror switch locks lights and doesn t ding when door is open with key in ignition. The first two times however my window was in the up position.

I have a 2004 gmc canyon. The hot wire must have broke in the door jam. Yes the power window and lock button on the passenger side door do not work. The regulator doesn t make any noise the window doesn t move nothing.

2007 silverado ltz 4 door drivers side windows don t work but passenger side windows work fine from the master switch even after replacement. Problems with power windows can be irritating and cause discomfort for those in the vehicle. The window is stuck in the up position thankfully but whenever i push the switch to roll it down nothing happens. Then i ran a hot wire to the green wire in the harness and plugged the switch back in and it works.

Also the power mirror adjusts the drivers side but not the passengerside. Thanks i have a 2003 gmc sierra 1500. Passengers window works fine drivers worked when you slammed door now nothing.
