1999 Chevy Tahoe Rear Door Power Lock Not Working

1999 tahoe 4 door 4x4 the driver passenger side power door locks are intermittently or not working at all.

If the driver door lock switch doesn t work try the passenger door lock switch or any other door. Here is my story. The driver lock has completely quit and the other 3 doors work randomly. If they do not then you may have a bigger issue.

The other three door locks work fine when it is not hot. However when it is hot 104 f like it was today the locks do not respond to any of the switches driver front passenger. It is a 2002 honda accord 4cyl special edition. The drivers side pdl never responds when the switch is used and the passenger occasinally works.

Door locks on 3 of 4 doors 2009 tahoe 78000 miles. For vehicles with traditional style door lock cylinders and keys a bad power door lock relay will merely disable the power door lock feature. Very frustrating have always owned chevy but with oil cunsumption and this problem it will probably my last one. Years ago the rear right door lock quit working but that is just extra info.

One of the easiest ways to diagnose the switch is by trying to use other door locks in the car. The rear barn door does t work as well.
